About Me

Here are a few things you may want to know about me.

I am 30 years old with 2 beautiful children Sophia (23 months) and Miles (4 months).  I have lived in Charlotte, North Carolina since I graduated from college in 2000.  I used to have a very adult life and a great job at Wachovia that paid me real money, but I left when I found out I was pregnant with Miles to start a website and finish a renovation of my kitchen.  Not surprisingly, both projects are taking much longer than planned.  I now have days when I would give anything to be back with grown ups, but because grown ups are so much less funny than kids and I love to laugh, I think I will stick with my kiddos and work from home.

I am okay with very little sleep, which allows me to work on projects, play with my kids, breastfeed my baby and keep up with designing my website and now starting this blog.  Since I am slightly crazy by nature and even more neurotic since my babies were born, I have become a family research and review freak.  I have tried a lot of stuff, been to a lot of classes, and tried a lot of restaurants with this family of mine.   I will be here to share my knowledge with you and of course, vent on any number of silly or serious family topics.  

If you have kids, you know that your sense of what is or is not approripate in adult conversation is dulled by the amount of poop and throw up that you see or have on your clothes on a dialy basis, so excuse me if the level of detail is past your level of comfort.  Have kids.  You will understand.  I must be honest in all, and that means details.  I mean at this point, poop and boobs and all that baby stuff isjust plain funny.  You either laugh or cry!

So basically, I am just a mom with a lot to say and no fear of sharing my thoughts with strangers.  Enjoy!
